WORTHINGTON YOUTH LACROSSE ASSOCIATION

We do this because we are Worthington-focused and we love the game. Our team is comprised entierly of unpaid volunteers.


Executive Director
Brandon Boos is formerly the head coach at Perrysburg High School and founder of that city's youth lacrosse program. He has coached girls and boys K-6 rec and travel teams for Worthington Youth Boosters since 2015. He played club lacrosse at Ohio State and the University of Toledo before enlisting in the United States Air Force where he attained the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Brandon holds degrees in communications, business, political science, and electronics and currently works for the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Originally from Penn Yan, NY, Garrick Ackart has lived in Worthington since 2010 with his wife and two children, He currently serves as the Business Development Manager at the Orton Ceramic Foundation in Westerville. Garrick holds a degree in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University and an MBA from The Ohio State University. He played lacrosse and rugby at Alfred State and football for Alfred University. Since 2018, Garrick has been actively involved in coaching youth lacrosse. He is also involved in youth hockey and flag football.
